Wall decor — questions we get asked
What size clock should I get for my wall?
Send us a photo of the wall with something recognisable in the frame for scale — a door, a sofa, a TV unit. Proportion is the thing that makes a wall clock look right or wrong, and it is much easier for us to judge from a photo than from a measurement alone. We will suggest a size and you can decide from there.
Is it a real working clock?
Yes. The resin face is what we make; it is fitted with a quartz movement and gold hands. It runs on a standard battery like any other wall clock.
Can you match a wall piece to the colours in my room?
Usually, yes. Send a photo of the room in daylight, and point at the thing you want it to pick up — a curtain, a sofa, a tile. We will pour a sample tone if it is a large piece and the match matters. Note that screens show colour differently, so a photo is a guide, not a guarantee of an exact match.
How heavy are they, and how do they hang?
Resin panels have real weight to them, more than a canvas of the same size. They hang on a proper wall fixing rather than a nail in plaster. We will tell you the weight and the fixing we recommend when we confirm the size, so you can get the right anchor before it arrives.
Will it fade in sunlight?
Keep it off a wall that takes hours of direct sun every day. Like all epoxy, resin can slowly discolour under long, hard UV exposure. Normal indoor light is no problem at all — this only matters for a spot that gets direct beating sun through a window.

Resin is poured and cured by hand, so colour, flow and gold-leaf placement vary slightly from piece to piece. That variation is what makes each one yours, and it is not a defect. Sizes, finishes and lead time for a custom order are confirmed in writing before we begin.
